Registration

The Riverton Jazz Band invites all Middle school, High school, and College students to audition for an opportunity to come perform with us at our annual, 2025, Next Generation Jazz Showcase. Registration to Audition opens on December 11th, 2024.

Auditions

On the registration form it will ask you which songs that you would like to audition for. After you finish the registration process, we will send you the minus tracks and sheet music for your selected pieces.

Once we close registration, we will send out a sign up form for you to select a day to come in and audition for us!

Master Class

We will be holding a free Master class on January 16th which we strongly encourage all of our applicants to attend. It will be put on by our very talented vocalist, Valaura Arnold along with our full Big Band who will demonstrate important techniques to know when singing with a live jazz band. Anyone who attends surely will have a leg up on the competition.

Performance​

Our Next Generation Jazz Showcase will be held on Saturday March 8th, 2025 7:00pm at the Riverton Community Center 12830 S Redwood Rd, Riverton, UT 84065. The performance will be free and open to the public. Make sure to invite all your friends and family to come experience the talent of the next generation of jazz singers. Hope to see you there!
